"The Other Side of Rain"

These days, everyone prays for rain, hoping for relief from the scorching heat. For many, rain is a blessing — it cools the air, freshens the earth, and brings joy. But have you ever thought about those for whom rain is not a blessing but a burden?

What about the daily wage workers, the street vendors, the homeless who sleep under the open sky without a roof over their heads? What happens to the delivery boy who struggles to meet deadlines, drenched and shivering? Or the security guard standing in the rain, unable to leave his post? What about the laborers whose day’s income gets cut because rain halts their work?

For those with shelter, dry clothes, warm food, and a safe bed, rain is beautiful. But for millions, it brings cold, hunger, illness, and uncertainty.

Society must be seen from every angle. Only when we think of others — those on the streets, in the fields, and on the roads — can we truly call ourselves humane.

If you have a roof over your head, you are lucky. If you can sleep peacefully on winter nights or enjoy the rain without fear, you are truly fortunate.

Remember — nature is not equal for everyone. What feels like comfort to you may be suffering for someone else.
